And now for something completely different

I made this triptych for my son’s living room. (Hopefully an upgrade over the “free beer tomorrow” sign. :^) ) Abstract art is interesting to create since it must entice the viewer strictly through the principles of painting design without the help of narrative. Here, line is used to direct the eye and connect the three pieces. Heightened contrast and a variety of marks add interest near the focal point of each piece.

  1. As new approach but a really compelling triptych using a muted palette and an array of interesting marks! I really like the design and the thought behind the creation of the piece.
